A day full of motoring...
It was a pretty boring day. Weather was fine and decided maybe I should have one those solo ride all around Penang Island again. Set out at about 10:30 am. Areas covered, Batu Feringgi > Teluk Bahang > Pantai Acheh > Teluk Kumbar > Batu Maung > Jelutong > Fort Cornwallis > Gurney Drive > Tanjung Bungah reaching home at 12:30 noon; A trip which I believe to be about 100 kilometres. The fun, undescribable. The thrill, out of this world.
Top speed I managed to reach on the highway along the coastal line, 150km/h. Fastest speed around the bends in those scary roads after Teluk Bahang dam, 80km/h. Roads discovered, roads that I use less than 3 times a year, 50 kilometres. Don't mind the scorching sun, the dust, the insects... verdict: Penang is one beautiful state. There is something special about it.
Anyway, I love the bike, I love the sound it makes, the way it handles. Its old and its aging, but I'm proud to say that it is still my bike and I love every bits of it.
Back home, took lunch, bathed and went for an afternoon nap. Woke up at 4:30pm. Decided that since I've nothing to do, might as well just visit Top Gear UK's website and watch the videos posted. Jeremy Clarkson is an arse but he is one great person, and he has one of the greatest job on earth. Richard Hammond is one funny guy and yes he is entertaining. James May is also funny, but he's funny because he is somewhat retard.
Challenges, a trip of almost 800 miles on a full tank of gasoline. Trips to the US to test the muscle cars. Comparisons between the Evo X FQ360 against the Sti WRX. Track laps by the Stig. Best of all, Top Gear in Vietnam where they had to travel from South Vietnam to North Vietnam, convert their vehicles into amphibious vehicle to reach a floating bar.

All and all, its a day full of motoring. Tomorrow, tomorrow could be a day full of fishing. Hehehe... that's it for now. Bye...
