Hi guys, it's CK and I am back here to blog about my dearly loved college, KDU college Penang. First of all, I have to say I see changes. They, the changes may be too little too late, but at least I see hope in them and "them" refers to the school of business. Surprised? I know you guys don't expect me to write something nice about KDU; come one... I have be going against the college, cursing and swearing about them ever since this blog was started??? Well, things are getting positive lately. With the employment of Dr Kow (pronounced as "cow" and I hope I got his last name right), it seems as if there is compassion and a certain degree of sympathy in him that makes him seem honest in helping the students.

Anyway, I welcome Dr. Kow on board KDU college Penang. Dr., I hope you make changes to the college, and positive changes ... before it falls apart. If the college falls apart, the failure is definitely contributed by and without a doubt, the main culprit or culprits are crossed-eyed Mango and fat-ass Nee Nee. I gotta say, I do hate the college now... for making me resit or re-attempt the company law exam paper. Come on, what's the past is the past. The results were posted in KCN (ya rite, crossed-eyed Mango claims that there was a technical error) as if we care. If the paper was leaked out (that is what they claim), why can't you guys just use the set B? Why must the college re-hire a new lecturer (Saravanan) and ask the fellow to re-set a new copy of exam for us? I am going to be very irresponsible now and push the blame to the college; IT'S NOT OUR FAULT THAT THE PAPER WAS LEAKED OUT, SO DON'T PENALISE EVERYONE.

Sticking back to the same topic company law, the new lecturer (Saravanan) is not bad actually, in fact very good. I am not joking here. I have been to countless lectures presented by various lecturers (okay, maybe not that many lectures), judging by how he performed today, it's pretty amazing how he manage to pull off what seemed to be an impossible task, to prepare us for the re-sit exam paper this coming Thursday. 3 hours, an hour more than the expected 2 but still, I will give him the credit. Kudos Mr. Saravanan. It's such a shame I didn't have the opportunity to learn company law from you.

It's been quite a good week actually. There is no better way to start a semester than this, minus the company law case; LOL. Like I have said, I am starting see changes in college and I welcome them. It's just my lost that I am graduating soon and taking into consideration my previous encounters with the college, I have vowed not to continue my degree in KDU no more. By the way, the data communication lecturer (Guru, that is how he wants us to address him) is good too. Anyone that disagree with me can bombard my blog anytime. For the meantime, let us give KDU the benefit of the doubt. One step at a time... that is what they all say.

Before I end this post, allow me to confess... I LOVE PINK... PINKY PINKY...wahahaha... a few friends should know what I am talking about...

Love all, trust a few, do harm to none - William Shakespeare. Do you believe in it? Do you agree with it? Well, whether you believe or agree with it or not, I certainly do. Two days ago, I lost one of the most valuable thing in my life and no, its not any of my family members (choi, touch keyboard; LOL) or my beloved friends. So, what is that most valuable thing? Hmm... my pencil case??? Yupz, it is my pencil case. If my memory serves me right, I have been using the same, dirty, blue colored pencil case for the past 5 years. Both me and the pencil case have gone through alot, PMR, SPM and every single final semester exam and I would say it's like a lucky charm to me.

So you are probably thinking why am I talking about my lost pencil case, and how is it going to make me believe and agree with what shakespeare had said. Hmm... today, I received a call from someone whom you least expect, the business school front desk administrator. To my surprise, I was expecting that I am again in deep shit and started to think what have I done to be called up by the college again. Hence, I rode my bike back to college (I have already reached home when the time I received that call) expecting a bad news from them. However, seems like I was being too imaginative, the admin people only needed my help in preparing some brochure and a short slide show for the upcoming talk regarding Keele University presented by Professor Peter Lawrence. By the way, if you are a yr 2 or 3 KDU diploma in business student, please attend the talk. Its November 13, at 11 am in lecture theatre 1.

So, as usual, it is pretty difficult for me to turn down anyone who ask help from me. After gaining all the information needed, I went to the library and started the "assignment" that was passed to me. Expecting nothing in return, I did ask the admin if they had seen my pencil case or not to which the reply was no, I receive another call from the admin people at approximately 3.30pm saying that they had found my pencil case. Wow, I was extremely happy. Hmm... thank you to that anonymous person from Murdoch (if I am not mistaken) for returning back the pencil case.

Was everything inside and most importantly, was my thumbdrive inside? YES. Not even a single pen or eraser went missing. However, what did broke my heart was that before that someone return the pencil case, I am not sure if it was him/her or his/her friends, someone "raped" my pencil case; LOL. Anyway, the damage is done, I have already bought a new pencil case which is even cuter, hahaha, so case close. I am happy now that I have recovered back my thumbdrive. This is a fine example of what shakespeare had said, love all, trust a few, do harm to none. I helped all, trust a few and do harm to none, to which I have receive good things back in return. Just like what they say in malay, "buat baik dibalas baik"; LOL.

The story later is not so good. I had promised someone to do something. Yet, because of me helping the admin people, I was held back until I was too late. Argh... not only I am late, in fact, I had to cancel the whole thing. Ish!!! I really hate myself. Sigh, why did it rain? Why did it rain during the most crucial time? Fate I guess. Haihz... luck was never on my side. Never... Hmm... I have got to think positively. I create my own fate. My fate lies in my hand. I decide what I want and what I hate. I am in control of my life...!!!

Last but not least, almost forgotten, I have got to congratulate my friend, Chia Mei. Hahaha... Chia Mei, if you are reading this, I congratulate you for finally Mr Sweetguy said something nice about you. Keep your faith alive. I shall be supporting you from behind. Hahahaha....

Yet another busy week... Assignment and more assignments... Presentations... Classroom activity... You name it and I have got to face it, this week and next week. So they say college life is fun, free and entertaining but I have got to say, it ain't fun this week. Sigh... such a simple subject of Academic English for Business has turned out to be so difficult.

More than 60 pages of journal to be read and a task to write a review on it for the sake of getting 5 marks??? Where is justice??? My seniors don't have to do it. So why is it compulsory now? "It's all for your own good, to prepare you for degree courses", that is the typical response you get from Ms Florence when you ask her. Well, we all know that her intention is good, the outcome is very likely to be positive but please be a little considerate considering we are not only taking your subject. Have you forgotten? Let me refresh your memory, we still have Operations Management, Management of Human Resource, Services Marketing and Company Law.

Anyway, enough talking about college life. Let's talk about what have I been doing lately. Hmm... errr... nothing? LOL. Life is so dull. I am so bored at home. I am either at college or at work. Life is no fun. Sigh... Dad is back to work and there goes all the fishing time. Someone, anyone... if you are reading this, if you are free sometimes, do call me out... Argh!!! I am rotting at home.

I think I am getting crazy, probably mad. Its been like 5 months or so. Kawasaki... ARE YOU CHEATING ME? Don't fool with me. I am getting more pissed off as the days gone by. I am now considering any bikes, KTM, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha even Harley Davidson... Hahahaha... I know I won't be able to afford any of the bikes, but who cares... If its fine with dad, it's certainly fine with me. Beggars can't be choosers. Quick... get me my bike. By the way, if its not too much to ask for, the Z750 looks perfect too; LOL.

Wrong timing, bad luck, fate. For the mean time, let's hope I will get my bike soon. Now, its back to the 60 pages journal for this Friday's class. Wish me luck...

It seems as if i hate a lot of things lately. Does anyone know what is causing this??? Please tell me.

I don't wanna live my life hating people or SERVICES but every single thing just pisses me off. I am not asking you guys to stay far way from me okay??? I am not anti-social. Maybe i am very fussy and more critical compared to my peers. For starters, its gonna be my favorite college, KDU.

So how did KDU pissed me off this time? You guys know how much i love sleeping rite... But KDU is against it. Can't they just call up and inform the students that the lecturer has fallen sick and wouldn't be able to lecture? Well that was the case. Ms. Florence was sick and couldn't lecture for A.E 2 but no one called any of the students to inform them. Pity my friends who came all the way from BM. Pity myself for waking up so early; ARGH!!! Nonetheless, i am not gonna blame Ms. Florence or the college. Blame myself for being so hot-tempered, and telling myself that it happened kinda sudden without any notice.

The next thing that pisses me off is STREAMYX... I hate streamyx. I extremely hate streamyx. I just can't stop from hating streamyx. Why is the connection soooooo bad? It is not only slow, but i just couldn't get online, browse the Internet or chat thru MSN. I will just get disconnected any second. Sigh... I (my mum) still have to pay RM88 every month. Too bad i am not Mr Lee Moh Chun cause if i am him, i will call up TM and give them a long lecture on improving their services and retaining customers; LOL. STREAMYX, this is the last chance for you. IMPROVE now... or i will switch to another ISP.

Haihz... Things are certainly not going my way lately. I don't feel like talking about hatred anymore. I don't wanna be perceived as a negative guy; LOL. Meanwhile, let's hope things will get better for me...

I'm bored. Damn BORED!!! Someone, please do something about it.


I am referring to the Operation Management lecture conducted by Ms. Leow (FYI, she is pregnant). It's sad to see that KDU is getting worse by the day. It's not Ms. Leow's fault that the lecture is boring. The students just can't blame her. She was not assigned to lecture for this subject in the first place...

Mr Foo, where are you?

I am not gonna pretend that i love the subject. In fact, i don't like it at all but i don't have any other options, so i learn to live with it; LOL. At the beginning of the semester, the lectures for OM were allright(though i don't get 50% of what Foo is trying to say), at least we get to joke around in his class.

However, i'll just look at the bright side. Since Ms. Leow took over, assignments were reduced by 50%. Love it or hate it, i certainly welcomed it... But, did i pay RM605.00 for the sake of going to class and sit down, do assignments and pass the exam?

Should i go to the office and create havoc AGAIN??? But then again, how much "damage" can one person do. With all due respect to Ms. Leow, i have nothing against her. She is a very qualified lecturer (currently pursuing her PhD) but somehow, i don't think OM is her field. Anyone agree with me?

Sigh... enough said. I think i just gotta learn to accept and adapt. Anyway, there are only a few more weeks to go before the semester ends. And i still have 2 more semesters to go before i complete my Diploma in Business. For those who are wondering if i might continue with KDU for degree, hmm... pick a guess.
